Which Do You Prefer?
A caricature of Percy Aldridge Grainger (Australian-born American pianist and composer, 1882-1891) and a soldier are sitting on a park bench conversing. Grainger asks the GI, "Which do you prefer? The 6th of Tchaikovsky or the 7th of Shostakovich?..." The soldier replies, (I prefer) "The 8th of Montgomery!..."
