This medallion shows the emblem of the corps, a cruciform medal in magenta and gold, with the title encircling the combined British and American colors. Arthur Szyk held two exhibitions to benefit the British American Ambulance Corps during the War, one at the Knoedler Art Galleries, New York, May 22 to June 7, 1941; the other at the Whyte Gallery, Washington, D.C., January 6 to January 31, 1942.
